End of Humans

The End of Humans

Here are two articles predicting the end of our species:

The first article says it is likely that we can could be wiped out within our life time. Most of the possible destructions all come back to us. The idea of man destroying itself is the most common idea in modern day religions. And there is still an illusion that some God or savior will come and save us from this destruction. Oh, it is not only evil that will lead us to our own destruction but the millions and millions of willfully ignorant peasants who go about their days mindlessly indulging themselves in redundant media/entertainment excitement. Greed, lust, and power are the only cares these ignorant fools have and they don't even know it... or maybe they do and are afraid to confront it. How cowardly and irresponsible.

We're at the crossroads of our species future right now. This is the century of lightning fast technological advances and powerful globalization. There are two roads we can take: evolution or damnation. Its as simple as that. Humans can either become greater beings or face their own destruction. And the only way we can overcome this, as horrible and tacky as it sounds, is through love and understanding.

The idea of love is now a lost ideology. You see it in online advertisements everyday. "A new season, a new someone". "Find your Summer fling". Love is nothing more than a commercialized product today. A product used for sex and arrogance. Then you see these young hippie kids who talk about peace and love who have no idea what peace or love are. Its merely just an excuse for drug use and hedonism. The real hippies of the 60's actually understood the ideas of peace and love and put their ideas into action. I use the term real because the movement became what it is today: a look, a style, an excuse to be apart of something. Real hippies actually came together for peace and love, not sex and drugs like you will see at any modern day festival trying to emulate Woodstock '69. Also, the drugs they use are not meant for only hallucinogenic effects but to open minds and altering consciousness. Its a quick way to get a cheap immitation of Buddhist like to call "enlightenment".

"Why must I meditate in order to achieve enlightenment?" demanded the prince of the teacher. "I can study, I can pray. I can think on issues clearly. Why this silly emptying of mind?"

"I will show you," said the teacher, taking a bucket of water into the garden under the full moon. "Now I stir the surface and what do you see?" "Ribbons of light," answered the prince. "Now wait," said the teacher setting the bucket down.

Both teacher and boy watched the calming surface of the water in the bamboo bucket for many minutes. "Now what do you see?" asked the teacher. "The moon," replied the prince.

"So, too, young master, the only way to grasp enlightenment is through a calm and settled mind."

Thanks to the government's drug propaganda campaign over the past 100 years, people like me look like villains. Instead of educating people on the real dangers of drugs, they've made up these stereotypes that teach people to judge one another. How is that fair? You can't control people's actions. There is no stopping the 16 year old kid taking his Mom's vicodin, pounding down down booze, and not waking up in the morning. The only thing we can do as a society is educate people better about stuff like that. Even though its known you're not supposed to mix pills and alcohol, people still do it. They mix other drugs as well. That is so stupid. So so so so stupid. I don't understand why anyone would do that unless they were extremely unhappy. If that is the case, it would be a reflection of society's future: drugged up and unhappy.

The year is 2008 and here we are, just as we always have been: alone. For only the past hundred years or so (not long at all) humans have been living it up without a care in the world other than what is in their personal agenda. Mainly in the West; here in the United States. It has been so easy to live, the need for a coopertive community became lost somewhere. Everyone is only worried about themselves. This selfish way of living has brought human civilization to a hault. Yes, we have become technoligically advanced and continue to do so at a very fast rate. A rate so fast, no one understands it. As a society so dependant on technology, there should be a general understanding of it. Everyone is just worried about having it and becoming overwhelmed with the pleasures it brings. Its distracted us from the connection we have with each other and the world.

Now we've come to a point where the world can no longer survive in this machine. We have to fight our way out of this advanced psychological slavery system. We have to come together and refuse to live in this failing government and economic system. The fate of our existance lies in the hands of only ourselves. Even before we could comprehend a God of some sort, we worked together to survive and its not going to change, so get over whatever petty prejudices you have. If we don't see disaster strike in our life time, then what about our children's life time? They surely will be alive to see the end of this century. Our parents and grandparents' generation have unknowingly paved a horrible future for us. Maybe it could be sited even further in the past. Either way its time to come together and change the world's direction. And it starts with you.

Stop fueling and feeding the corporate machine. You can live without them and bootleg stuff off the internet to get your fix. Buy American Appearal clothing or another American-made-sweatshop-free company. Start thinking green and make some adjustments to your way of living. Recycling is really easy. Don't be so lazy about it. You throw away your trash in seperate cans, its not rocket science. Lose that grudge you have with someone just because they have a different belief than you. Let them think what they want, but work together by communicating stuff like this and practicing the common goal: peace. Who doesn't want to save the world we live on? Selfish people, thats who. Start talking to your family and friends about real topics and not the latest episode of American Idol. You can tell how obvious it is that I don't watch TV since I can't think of a cooler name drop. I feel like if I can cut back so much and stop feeding from this machine, I feel like anyone can. I'm not special by any means. I'm sure a lot of people think I'm an idiot. Then there are a lot of people who tell me they enjoy reading what I write. Which is really weird to me because I have horrible communication skills. Maybe I'm off and on? It doesn't matter, I'm no different from anyone else. I'm only trying to become something better and it would be awesome if everyone tried to do the same. To become better, not than someone else, but better than themselves. Survival isn't a competition between each other. Come on Christians, Jesus preached love and compassion too.

People of any religion are allowed to meditate. At least to my knowledge. I believe it is important for more people to start regularly doing this. With all the chaos going on in the world, meditation is needed to see a bigger picture than the one you already know. I honestly would not suggest for everyone to try any hallucinogenic drugs because they are far too powerful and can be misused very easily without any prior research on the drug. If you're interested in trying something like that out, I'm here to answer your questions or be a guide.

Here are some links to help people learn and practice meditation:

A great documentary on LSD:

I can not stress enough how important it is for everyone to make an effort to communicate honestly and openly with each other. Spread the word. Educate yourselves.
